Pharmacognosy is an applied specialized branch of botany that studies medicinal plants and medicinal plant raw materials, as well as individual substances of animal origin or products of primary processing of plants and animals.
Pharmacognosy is interconnected with other branches of science – organic and biological chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, biotechnology, physiology and medicine.
In addition, this discipline is among the most important, along with many others, in the course of training in the specialty “Pharmacy”.
Therefore, the success and effectiveness of mastering the course of pharmacognosy depends on an integrated approach to obtaining knowledge.
As part of this, the FC-21 group together with the curator, teacher of special disciplines Ibraimova Bakyt Makumovna, visited the metropolitan Botanical Garden. During an exciting and interesting excursion, the students got acquainted with the diversity of the plant world of the greenhouse. The importance and unconditional benefit of this event lies in the fact that the Botanical Garden has become the most necessary visual educational resource.
